Although I had never used seeds or nuts before, the flavour of these items honestly amazed me. I can promise that this recipe for energy bites will quickly become one of your favourites.
Although the ideas for making energy bites are currently popular, they are an extremely old-fashioned and traditional method of eating in order to stay healthy and satisfy one's taste buds.
In this recipe, I've used a lot of delicious and healthy ingredients, and it's made in a very simple manner. Let me give you an overview of some of the key ingredients in this recipe and their advantages before I get to the method and ingredients. I had no idea that sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds had so many health advantages before now, but after reading and researching them, I'm thrilled to share this informative blog with you all. Sunflower seeds contain more calories, protein, and lipids. Pumpkin seeds, on the other hand, have a substantially higher carbohydrate content, including dietary fibre. Along with it, I added a lot of nutritious ingredients like dates and dried fruits.
Let's get to the ingredients without further ado.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Almonds
1/2 cup of Cashews
12-15 Dates
1/4 cup of Sesame seeds
1/2 cup of Oats
1/2 cup of Pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup of Sunflower seeds
1/2 cup of Choco chip (optional)
1tsp of Cocoa powder
2tsp of Ghee
2 to 3tsp of Honey (as per your requirement)
Take a pan, as directed. Add sesame, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds, and roast for at least five minutes. All of these seeds should be thoroughly ground in a grinder. Pour the entire seed mixture into a large bowl. Almonds, cashews, and oats should all be roasted in the same pan for at least five minutes. Put all of these ingredients in a grinder after the almonds have been roasted, and then ground them (don't over-grind them; the bits of almonds and cashews will taste fantastic). Pour the ingredients into the same bowl. Grind the dates until it gets easy to mix texture and put the date into the same bowl. Mix all the ingredients together, add cocoa powder, Choco Chip (optional), melted ghee and honey to the bowl. Mix all the ingredients properly and start making small balls out of it and here's your healthy and delicious protein bites are ready to serves.
