Ingredients:
- 1 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 eggs
- Few drops of vanilla essence
- Chocolate spread
- 1/2 cup milk (adjust as needed for consistency)
- 2 tsp oil or unsalted butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
Method:
Step 1: In a bowl, whisk together the icing sugar and eggs. Gradually add the maida, vanilla essence, baking powder, oil, and milk. Mix all the ingredients until well combined. Adjust the milk quantity to achieve a thick batter consistency.
Step 2: Heat a pan over medium flame, then reduce to low flame. Pour small portions of the batter into the pan, making 3-4 cakes at a time. Cook on low flame until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until both sides are golden brown. Remove and set aside on a plate.
Step 3: Spread 1 tsp of chocolate spread on one side of a cake, then cover with another cake to make a sandwich. Repeat for the remaining cakes.
And just like that, in three simple steps, your Dora Cakes are ready to serve!
